This piece will also be featured in the train wreck show, it features some new glass styling. I've been working on trying to convert glass work into my negative space piecemeal way of working. The glass shown coming out of the sculptures head is a combination of fused glass grids i've been making and some old found glass that had wire mesh embedded in it which was an old safety feature to keep windows from shattering into shards that could hurt people. I really enjoyed the found object/new object aspect of this glass work and also my first metal figure work in 2 years was quite refreshing!
